The Unity March will meet at Oaklands Park, Chelmsford at 12 noon. We will have speeches there as people assemble and we will then march into Chelmsford City Centre via Moulsham Street and the High Street and will finish with a rally and speakers outside the Shire Hall. The rally will start at 1pm.
If you do not want to or cannot do the march, you are welcome to join us at the rally. Stewards will be at the Shire Hall well before the march arrives. The Shire Hall is in Tindal Square and is about 5 minutes’ walk (south on Duke Street) from the bus and train stations.
If you come by public transport, Oaklands Park is around 28 minutes’ walk from the bus and train stations. There are quite a few buses from the City Centre bus station to the park – principally the C1 route but also others.
